Yep...it costs a few bucks....but I really like Logitech. Their products all hold up well to constant usage......so I guess you could say I am a fan. Been through numerous mice in my computering days I think this is one of the best mice available...... not just for gaming, but for everyday use.......I just use this for everything on my desktop.
There are way more options on this mouse than I will ever use.....just tons and tons of options for just one mouse. Like the standard version of the G9X, you get the mouse, a set of calibration weights, two grips. But you now also get an official Modern Warfare 3 mouse pad. It's cool. I like the fact that the chord is covered in rope/fabric and not that annoying plastic.
The calibration weights are neat.....I like a mouse that feels heavier. The weights also help prevent unintentional movement of the mouse when you're using the highest sensitivity setting. You can customizable the sensitivity settings. A set of color LEDs help you sense the sensitivity settings. I like my Logitech and I recommend it.
I recently received the Logitech G9X Gaming Mouse MW3 Edition to replace my Steele Series World of Warcraft Edition Gaming Mouse. My old mouse was starting to suffer from extensive gaming use and I decided to try a new mouse. I found that my previous mouse was quite bulky an even though it had 15 programmable buttons I could only comfortably use about 3 of the extra buttons. The MW3 Edition of the Logitech G9X Gaming Mouse features 9 programmable buttons which really translates to 4 extra buttons not found on your typical household mouse. Two of these buttons are used to quickly change how fast your mouse will move across your screen. This feature has 4 programmable settings which range from a extremely slow precise movement, which I imagine would be ideal for sniping, to an extremely quick mouse speed which would help you turn at unhuman like speeds and spray and prey your enemies. Overall I am happy with the functionality of the mouse and the fact that you can change the outer casing and you can change the weight of the mouse to a feel that fits your hand perfectly. I really have no complaints at the moment with this product.
